High performance multifunction-in-one optoelectronic device by integrating graphene/MoS<sub>2</sub> heterostructures on side-polished fiber

Abstract Two-dimensional (2D) materials exhibit fascinating and outstanding optoelectronic properties, laying the foundation for development of novel devices. However, ultra-weak light absorption 2D limits performance Here, a structure MoS 2 /graphene/Au integrated onto side-polished fiber (SPF) is proposed to achieve high-performance fiber-integrated multifunction-in-one device. It found that device can absorb transverse magnetic (TM) mode guided in SPF generate photocurrents as polarization-sensitive photodetector, while electric (TE) passes with low loss through device, making simultaneously polarizer. In film Au finger electrode enhance TM by 1.75 times 24.8 times, respectively, thus allowing high performance: photoresponsivity 2.2 × 10 5 A/W at 1550 nm; external quantum efficiency (EQE) 1.76 7 %; photocurrent polarization ratio 0.686 3.9 dB/mm C-band.
